Filament Games seeks a part time, remote employee to assist with hiring efforts while our administrative assistant is on partial leave. You will be responsible for posting and advertising job openings, responding to questions from applicants, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates for basic requirements on behalf of Filament Games' department leads.

We are estimating our needs to be in the range of 8-16 hours per week, with the actual number of hours worked varying each week depending on the positions open. This position is best for someone looking for supplementary income; because our hiring needs vary, we do not guarantee any certain number of hours per week. The schedule is very flexible, although we're looking for a candidate who can check in online at least once per day and respond to inquiries and scheduling requests within 24 hours. The position is temporary, with an expected term of about six months.

Responsibility & Relationships


  • Coordinate multiple calendars to schedule interviews (both phone and in-person)

  • Respond to basic inquiries from applicants and forward specific inquiries to the appropriate person
  • Post open positions online to multiple sites (free and paid)
  • Refresh job postings every ten days on a regular schedule based on each posting location
  • Screen candidates for basic requirements determined by hiring manager
  • Review and flag promising candidates if hiring manager requests
  • Perform 1:1 outreach over social media to encourage relevant candidates to apply
